A New Real Estate Agent
Safety Tool!
Use your camera phone as a
mobile security camera!
What is RealSafe.net's Mobile
Security Service (MSS)
and why was it
developed?
RealSafe.net MSS is a privately owned personal security service that
allows Real Estate Agents to use their camera phones as mobile
security cameras. This enables agents to
increase their personal security and the security of their clients and their clients'
properties.
The
need for effective personal realtor safety practices is very real and long overdue.
Why are Real Estate Agents and their Listings often targets of Crime?
It is the nature of
the real estate industry for agents to meet total strangers in homes
where no one else is present.
This common practice is risky not only for the real estate agent but also for the
homeowner. The stranger may be a legitimate buyer. . . or
could be interested in "casing" the home. Even worse, the
agent may be robbed or assaulted.
How does RealSafe.net provide Realtor Safety?
Unlike other real
estate agent
safety products and services, RealSafe.net Mobile Security
Service is proactive. . . it is designed to deter criminal acts
instead of reacting to them.
RealSafe.net MSS
subscribers take photos of prospective home buyers
—
with their consent
—
and send this information to their RealSafe.net Vault.
Because these photographs are inaccessible and irretrievable by
anyone other than law enforcement officials, this will
have no effect on a legitimate buyer.
By photographing individuals — with their
knowledge — in a secure environment, and sending the photograph to a
secure database, subscribers considerably reduce the probability
that a criminal incident will follow.
Why? Because the individual has been deprived of his greatest
weapon —anonymity.
Once the
information is sent, RealSafe.net has a
photographic record of of the meeting. Even if the camera phone is
destroyed, the record is safe.
* This same method
of security is in practice and used daily, for example: in banks,
gas stations, ATM machines, public transportation, public buildings,
elevators, retail stores. An individuals picture is taken for
security, on an average of 5 to 7 times a day.
